ONLINE CBT THERAPY

How it works

While there is a need for social distancing, I will be offering online therapy via webcam. This will enable us to see and hear one another whilst engaging in therapy and it will be free to use.

To facilitate this process, you will need to have either a PC, laptop (with an external or built in camera) or smart phone,  and a stable connection to the internet (e.g. via wifi or Ethernet cable).

And to help ensure online therapy is a positive experience for you, you will also need  access to a private space, where you will not be overheard or interrupted.

CBT therapy

CBT therapy typically includes written (eg logs or other paper exercises) or experiential work between sessions. I will send any relevant forms, readings etc via email. Completed written exercises that you wish me to see will then need to be scanned in with a printer or photographed with your phone and emailed to me so we can review these together.

When social distancing ends

When it is again safe, you will be given the option of face-to-face therapy with me in Bristol, or continuing with online sessions.
